California Clean Truck Check certificate is a digital PDF document that provides proof that vehicle is currently CARB compliant. Printed certificate can be kept inside the vehicle. There are no mandatory requirement to carry CARB certificate inside the vehicle. To view and download Clean Truck Check Certificate you will need an active account on CTC-VIS portal (California Clean Truck Check Vehicle Inspection System) portal.
Create Account or Login To CTC-VIS Portal
Creating CTC-VIS portal login is the first and critical step for CARB compliance testing. We recommend creating account login for your business and adding your vehicles information before your registration renewal.
Note: there will be annual CARB vehicle compliance fees $31 due immediately when you start adding your vehicles to the portal.
Vehicles emissions testing without CTC-VIS account will not clear your vehicle’s non-compliance notice and test results will be unaccounted for.
How to get your Clean Truck Check Certificate
- Create owner account at https://cleantruckcheck.arb.ca.gov/
- Add your vehicle information.
- Pay vehicles annual compliance fee.
- Get your vehicle tested by credentialed tester or CARB certified smog station.
- Pass emissions compliance test and results will be automatically submitted and will show up in your CTC-VIS owners account.
- Your vehicle is now Clean Truck Check Compliant.
- Download and print CARB compliance certificate.
